Welcome to The Coaching Effect
Over the past year, The Coaching Effect has undergone a transformation. The owner, Angelique McPherson is committed and passionate about working with individuals and organizations that are in transition or faced with a necessary change. Our world now more than ever is facing rapid change in every area. Economically, environmentally and especially how we humans interact on an interpersonal level. This is the new focus of The Coaching Effect.
Change is the 1 thing we all will face, either at work, at home or eventually with ourselves.
If you leave with one thing from my site, I want it to be this;
Stay low and fluid like water. When you are soft, you can overcome anything hard.
1) Embrace Change
-Just as the sun will rise tomorrow, change is coming. Accept it and even embrace it, because in this moment, is where you have choice, and in choice is where you have power.
2) Never Compromise
-Hold the passion, the vision and the promise of the future you want to create. This is all about focus and attention. Get clear, stay the course and of course know when to refocus.
3) Create Relationships
-Working with a coach, mentor, boss or partners will help you along the way. “We don’t do life alone.” Angelique McPherson. So gather your players and like any sports team, they will change depending on the season.
4) Ask Questions
-The right information will make all the difference. During times of change and transition the rules are changing too. What worked before may not work now. It is the quality of your questions that will determine the quality of your information. What was true yesterday has today’s perceptions over top.
5) Be Real
-Keep expectations to what is in your control. “Overestimate the power you have to change yourself, underestimate the power you have to change others.” Wayne Dyer. Understanding this difference will be key in your success to navigate transition.
This is a snapshot of my approach to navigating the stormy water of change. At times the journey can be full of uncertainty, however with the right information and support you may actually enjoy the process.
